BMW Group India today unveiled the new BMW 220i ‘Black Shadow’ variant. The limited edition, produced locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, is now available on the BMW India website.
The Black Shadow version of the 2 Series Gran Coupe starts at Rs 43.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 1.6 lakh more than the M Sport Line model. Production at Alpine White and Black Sapphire is limited to 24 units only.
The black shadow model of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe has a unique look. It features a high-gloss black mesh design, black wing mirrors, a sporty high-gloss rear spoiler, and an M front grille with black chrome exhaust tips. The Jet Black Matte 18-inch M Performance Y-Spoke Styling 554M Fake Wheel is fitted to the automobile. The BMW logo can also be seen on the floating hub cap.
The 2-liter, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor that produces 190PS and 280Nm of peak torque and is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox that powers the 2 Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow version under the hood.
Significant changes to the ambient lighting interior include newly designed sport seats with electronic memory functions, two-zone climate control with carbon microfilters, and six fuzzy patterns. Other interior features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and a rearview camera with virtual assistant, wireless charging, reverse assist, and frameless doors.
