Sino-US-based multinational technology company Lenovo recently officially launched two new laptops, the ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+. Earlier, the company had announced that pre-orders for the two laptops would begin this month. However, in terms of features, these two devices are powered by Intel Core i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors. And, NVIDIA RTX 2050 has been used as GPU in some variants of laptops. Again, they come with a light all-metallic body for easy portability. Due to this both laptops are light in weight and not too thick. In addition, they come with LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Lenovo ThinkBook 14+, ThinkBook 16+ prices
Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ laptops have been brought in four-processor variants. In that case, the i5-12500H processor variant starts at 4,999 yuan or Rs 59,600 in Indian price. The i7-12700H processor variant, on the other hand, has a starting price of 8,099 yuan, or about Rs 72,800. The i5-12500H + RTX 2050 and i7-12700H + RTX 2050 processor variants have a starting price of 8,299 yuan (about Rs 75,200) and 8,999 yuan (about Rs 63,500) respectively.
The ThinkBook 18+ laptop, on the other hand, is available in three processor variants. In that case, the i5-12500H processor variant starts at 4,999 yuan (about ৭ 59,600). The i5-12500H + RTX 2050 and i7-12700H + RTX 2050 processor variants have a starting price of 8,299 yuan (about Rs 75,200) and 8,999 yuan (about Rs 63,500).
The slim and lightweight Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+ notebooks will go on sale in China from the second half of this month. However, it is not yet known when they will be launched in India or in the global market.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14+, ThinkBook 16+ Specifications
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ laptop has a 14-inch display. This display supports 2.8K (2.8K) resolution, 18:10 aspect ratio, 90 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamet. For connectivity, it has Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, microSD card reader slot, etc.
The ThinkBook 18+ laptop, on the other hand, comes with a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2.5K, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sRGB color gamet 100%. Its interface options include Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, microSD card reader and more. Like the previous model, it comes with an all-metallic body.

In terms of internal configuration, both Lenovo laptops use i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors. Of these, the i5-12500H chipset has 4 large cores + 6 small cores. And, i7-12700H chipset has 6 big cores + 6 small cores. Finally, Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+ laptops will have LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD as storage.
