Since the Mahindra E-Alpha Cargo is a cargo vehicle, its main consideration is its carrying capacity, in the case of 310 kg. With full weight, it is capable of running 60 km on a single charge. The car has a 1.5 kW motor. The maximum speed of the low-speed cargo car is 25 km per hour.
Mahindra Electric claims that the car can be charged in a very simple way like a mobile phone with an off-board 48 volt / 15-ampere charger. Other features include a completely digital instrument cluster, which will show information about the current charge, range and speed of the car.
