After a long wait, Xiaomi’s new custom skin MIUI 13 (MIUI 13) is finally rolling out in India today, February 3, at 12 noon at a launch event. Yesterday Xiaomi India (Xiaomi India) announced about this operating system skin on Twitter. Then today, the screen was removed from the top of the new MIUI in a formal style on social media. In terms of features, the new MIUI 13 features enhanced performance, multitasking features, redefined design and more. It will have various features like Smart Balance, Optimized File Storage System, RAM Optimization, Enhanced Battery Life.
It is worth mentioning that MIUI 13 made its debut in China and worldwide in December 2021 with the company’s flagship smartphone series almost two months ago. Then in the new year it is now available for use by Indian users.
Features of the new MIUI 13
- Three-step verification:
According to the company, the new MIUI 13 comes with enhanced security features and enhanced privacy. In this case, the company has introduced a three-step verification process for improved security. It will deal with three levels – facial recognition (not limited to facial data), watermark reading and electronic fraud security (saving numbers from phonebooks).
- New fonts, wallpapers and widgets:
A new and free font has been introduced in MIUI13. This will be known as ‘Sans-serif’ and will simplify letters, numbers or symbols. Also new wallpapers will come on the device after this update. The widget will also be redesigned.
- Liquid storage:
This is an option to manage the file saving process on the device, which will easily optimize the files and save storage space. It also allows users to expect improved read / write speeds (up to 95 percent) on the device after three years.
Users will get a special optimization setting called Smart Balance when the new custom skin update arrives. The update will also optimize RAM and files, as well as increase the backup time by optimizing the device’s battery.
