Nokia phone maker HMD Global has secretly launched a new feature phone in the African market. This phone is called Nokia 105 African Edition. This model has 4 GB RAM, a QVGA screen and an 800 mAh battery. Incidentally, the Nokia 105 phone debuted in the market in 2019. Then last year the company also launched a revamped version of this phone with 4G connectivity. However, this new Nokia 105 African Edition model is similar to the model launched in 2019. Let’s find out the price and complete specifications of this new smartphone.
Nokia 105 African Edition Specifications
The Nokia 105 African version comes with a 1.6-inch QVGA screen. This phone has 10 more pre-installed games including the popular Snake mobile game. The back shell of this phone is made of polycarbonate and as usual, the Nokia 105 African version comes with a durable design for which Nokia phones are known.
The Nokia 105 African Edition is powered by a Unisk 6531E processor. This feature phone comes with 4GB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. The phone runs on Series S30 + operating system and only supports 2G connectivity.
For power backup, the Nokia 105 African Edition phone has a 600 mAh battery, which is claimed to give a standby time of up to 18 days, and the device will remain on even if the user is talking on a continuous phone call for up to 12 hours. The top end of the phone has a micro USB connector for charging the battery, as well as a built-in flashlight. Nokia also states that the device’s memory can store 2000 contacts and 500 text messages. Note that the Nokia 105 is currently the best-selling feature phone in the world and hopefully Nokia will be able to hold on to this title in the future with new models.
