Xiaomi recently announced plans for a global rollout of the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update in the first half of this year. The Redmi 10 received the MIUI 13 update yesterday as the first budget smartphone of the Xiaomi group. And now a report claims that the 2021 version of the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro handset have started updating to Android 12.
The update has been rolled out to the global version of the Redmi Note 8 (2021). Firmware version V220.127.116.11.SCUMIXM and size 2.6 GB. The January security patch has been bundled. The update is said to be in the ‘stable beta’ stage. In other words, even if not everyone gets it now, after confirming the bug-free, the update will reach more users.
On the other hand, another phone that got MIUI 13 is Redmi Note 10 Pro 7 However, only in European regions, users of the device are reported to be receiving new updates. It is also being rolled out as a stable beta Size 3.3 GB.
By the way, Redmi Note 10 Pro users outside of Europe are also expected to receive the update soon. In India, MIUI 13 users are expected to get the MIUI 13 update very soon. Because it is rebranded as Redmi Note 10 Pro in different countries.
