After a long wait, WhatsApp is finally coming up with the Chat Migration feature to enhance the user experience. Recently, the messaging app has been seen to test the convenience of transferring chat history from Android to iOS devices. Note that earlier there was a facility to transfer chat history from WhatsApp, iOS to Samsung and Pixel phones i.e. selected Android models. In that case, now the feature is expected to be available to all except the mobile phone users of the two platforms. WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart has confirmed this feature.
Finally the chat migration feature is coming for all WhatsApp users
Device switching or chat history transfer was difficult for Android and iOS users before WhatsApp introduced the chat migration feature. Going to a phone with a new operating system means losing the old chat So the platform owned by Meta recently moved the chat from iOS to Samsung and Pixel phones.
Now according to the latest update, WhatsApp is testing the Android to iOS chat migration feature. According to Wabetainfo, the feature has been seen in the new Android Beta (version 2.21.20.11). Users of this version have seen the ‘Import Chat History from Android’ option. However it cannot be used now, the feature will be available in future updates.

WhatsApp’s desktop app also has new features
In addition to the chat history transfer, WhatsApp has been seen working on the possibility of bringing the option to pause and resume voice messages in the beta version of the desktop app. WhatsApp already allows beta users to listen to voice messages before sending them to the desktop, but users will be able to pause and resume recordings later.
