We’ve been hearing the epic of Apple’s devices for a long time. How devices have been proven to be life-saving more than once, or how they have been rescued while still underwater for months – such incidents are always in the headlines. While Apple Watch tops the list of these devices, AirPods are no less! These AirPods, which recently saved the life of a woman in New Jersey, are now ‘heroes’. Let us know a little bit about the incident.
According to People, Susan Putman, a florist from New Jersey, always wore her earpods. One day while he was at his flower shop, he accidentally fell to the ground and hit his head on a sharp metal object on the floor. The bruises immediately started bleeding profusely, and since he was alone in the store, he had no way of calling anyone for help. As a result, he panicked.
But all of a sudden he remembers that whether there is anyone around or not, he has earphones in his ears. So he uses the Siri (Siri) in his AirPods to call the ambulance before losing consciousness, and just says, ‘Hey Siri, call 911’. And as we all know, Siri is able to send calls or send texts to the right place at the right time only if we order by voice when we are driving or busy. So, thanks to the magic of advanced technology, the 911 number automatically went off, and soon the police and paramedics arrived at the scene to save the woman’s life.

So, now you must realize that AirPods can do more for you than just listening to music. Note that Hey Siri can be activated on AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, AirPods 3, and AirPods Max. If this feature is enabled on your iPhone, it is also automatically enabled on AirPods. To activate Hey Siri on your AirPods, first find Settings, then Siri & Search, and then the “Listen for Hey Siri” option. You can do this directly on your AirPods Pro and AirPods 3 by simply pressing and holding the Force Sensor. Again, to activate Hey Siri in AirPods and AirPods 2 you need to double-tap on the side of AirPods.
