The new color launch in India is the Yamaha Aerox 155. Inspired by the company’s ‘R-Series’ motorcycles, this new performance-oriented maxi-scooter has been brought in the color ‘Metallic Black’. Although new color options were introduced, the price was not increased. Like the other two color variants, it is priced at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yamaha launched the Yamaha Aerox 155 Maxi scooter in the market last September. It was to be purchased from the company’s Blue-Square showrooms at the end of September. The scooter came in two color options – Racing Blue and Gray Vermillion. Now a new color option has been added – Metallic Black.
However, no mechanical changes were made to the new color model. It has a Blue Core Liquid Cooled 4-Stroke Engine with 155 cc Variable Valve Equation, which produces 15 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.
The engine of the Yamaha Aerox 155 metallic black color variant has a new cylinder head and a compact combustion chamber. So as to achieve high compression ratio and combustion efficiency.
