Yamaha Motor India announces cashback on scooters. However, subject to conditions, this offer is only for certain states. These include West Bengal, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and several northeastern states. The company has announced offers for Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid models. Buying a Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter from Assam and other northeastern states and West Bengal will get a cashback of Rs 2,500. In Maharashtra, on the other hand, Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid and RegiR 125 FI Hybrid (Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid) scooters will get a cashback of Rs 2,500. In Tamil Nadu alone, these two scooters will get a cashback of Rs 5,000.
The scooters have a BS7 updated air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi) 125cc Blue Core engine. It produces 7.2 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.
Yamaha’s hybrid scooters, on the other hand, feature a smart motor generator (SMG) system with hybrid power assist technology, a quiet engine start system and an automatic start and stop system. It also has a side stand engine cut off switch, which is found in all the company’s two-wheelers in India.
